No enlarged lymph nodes and hiv infection?I ws concerned about hiv infection..Been searching my body for enlarged lymph nodes but haven't been able to find any?? Is it possible that I would notice these and how common are they in early hiv infection

You will not definitely experience swollen lymph nodes if you have contracted HIV, and sometime symptoms of HIV are not noticeable immediately, if at all.

Congratulations, you have what I had, fear of hiv infection. That fear can eat you alive for a few years. Even after you know you are negative.

HIV symptoms comes in many forms. Some may or may not show up at all. Please don't go looking for fear, you will be scared sh1tless if you stay on that path.

Stay safe for the time being until you are 3 to 6 months after your last sexual encounter to get the hiv test. Yes, 3 to 6 months, that long to be safe. Or, go donate blood and you find out sooner because they have the better test.

In any case, calm yourself first. Don't go looking for doctors or symptoms, ask yourself are you scared? Are you scared of something that will kill you eventually in maybe 10 - 20 years? if ur doctor checked and said ur lymph nodes were okay then you are excellente! trust me.. i had a hiv scare and checked my lymph nodes on a daily basis. for 3 months, no enlarged lymph nodes from what the doctor felt and they did not see anything abnormal in my ct scan/xrays.. and turned out hiv negative!

so U should be okay! and if u did feel or see anythin swollen.. it doesnt have to mean HIV.. it can be a ear infection that u are unaware of having.. or a infection inside the mouth from a cut of ur gums.. see! lymph nodes swollen r so common that its not really common to just go str8 to the hiv infection..
